Vegan Chocolate Oat Cake

This cake/torte is admittedly not as healthy as it might sound, but a much healthier and lighter alternative to a classic chocolate cake. There is no added fat or sugar; just three ingredients!


Ingredients:

375ml Coconut Milk

200g Bournville chocolate (or dark vegan chocolate- if you're actually vegan!)

220g oats


Method:

  1. Line and grease a round, loose-bottomed cake tin

  2. Gently heat the coconut milk in a pan

  3. Chop up the chocolate into small bits. Put into a medium bowl

  4. Pour the coconut milk over the chocolate. Stir until the chocolate has melted and the mix thickened

  5. Add the oats to the chocolate mixture. Mix well to combine

  6. Pour the mix into the lined tin

  7. Leave in the fridge for a couple of hours until set
