Pizza alla Emerald Kimono

I'm unofficially making it national pizza day- any excuse to go all out with this classic Italian delight!

I found some amazing ready made pizza bases, which taste pretty authentic when cooked. I highly recommend finding an Italian deli near you and delving deep in their stores for these pizza bases, they're great fun. Why not have a competition of who makes the best pizza- add a bit of healthy antagonism into your mealtime.

Warning- this could get messy!

Method:

  • Turn the oven up to full whack.

  • Spread a thin layer of Passata tomato sauce (can be found in an Italian deli, or the supermarket) on the base and lightly brush the crust with olive oil.

  • Top with whatever takes your fancy, I love to rip some Buffalo Mozzarella and Basil onto mine. Season with S+P.

  • Pop in the oven for about 10 mins or until crisp, golden and oozing...
